Our Story: The Film

James and friends enjoying themselves

Update 'James Story': we will be taking the workshop to Exeter Road School, Exmouth on March 16th and will be sharing our work at the Devon Wide Learning Disability Parliament on March 24 at Wonford Community Centre.

James' Story is a short film based on real experiences about bullying, which developed out of the 'Say No to Bullying' project. This film is offered as part of a 40 minute interactive and fun workshop available to schools in Exmouth and East Devon free of charge.'Simply called 'James Story' it is about a man with a disability who encounters some bullies. Not wanting to give too much away, (in case you haven't seen it yet!) it shows the consequences this has on his life.

Here are some snapshots of the story:

James, shown here before the bullying incident, is a very social person – he likes a drink with his friends and his best friend Matt, is seen here persuading James to a Chinese meal!
