The 'Thurspians' group has emphasis on: developing communication skills, improving social skills, increasing self confidence and improving ability to work within a group dynamic.

The group often starts with a 'Newsround' where the members share verbally or re-enact through mime and 'Snapshot' their weekly events. The main activity is often based on going into role and this is done after first deciding on props, costumes, settings, dealing with various issues and through the drama we experiment with ways of resolving them.
