SUMMER 2008.. IMPORTANT NOTICE...OUR ARTS TOGETHER PROJECT HAS ENDED DUE TO THE FUNDING FINISHING, WE ARE WAITING TO HEAR IF FUNDING APPLICATIONS FOR A VISUAL ARTS AND A DRAMA PROJECT ARE SUCCESSFUL.

 

Arts Together was a very successful project we ran in Exeter on and off (depending on various funding streams) for the last six years.

Arts Together focused on arts activities for people with mental health issues and over the years ran a variety of arts, drama, and movement activities.

The backbone of the project was a twice a week visual arts open studio, that gave people the opportunity to explore their own creativity in a gentle supported environment.  The work produced was exhibited across Exeter and off a very high quality, the participants were supported by fabulous workers, volunteers and visiting artists.

Funding applications have been submitted and their are plans to build on the success of the earlier projects. but in the mean time this page is a gallery to show the incredible creative talents of the people that attended Arts Together.
