Magic Carpet exists to improve the health of society's most vulnerable people through contemporary creative arts provision.
Magic Carpet is one of Exeter's leading arts for health charities. It was established in 1981 and works in all areas of the arts including painting, sculpture, ceramics, printing, photography, animation and film, music, drama, dance and movement and environmental arts.
RAMM
Magic Carpet at RAMM
This is an exciting new opportunity for Magic Carpet to work with the newly re-opened RAMM. The project will run a range of arts based activities for people with Mental Health and mild learning disabilities. It will introduce the group to the collections within the museum and use this process of discovery to inform their lives. We aim to motivate our participants to get involved in finding something and everything in RAMM's thousands of artefacts that fires their imagination, encouraging participation and engagement.
